October 17th, 2008Do you miss someone when you eat?
I told my cutie sis I’ll post the pics I took of my son the day he missed someone. Who was that someone?
One time I went to supermarket, little boy was with me. I was busy shopping for food stuff and he too shopped. He took a pack of choco-vanilla pudding. When we arrived home he immediately opened one cup and ate.
He was happily eating the choco-vanilla pudding so I decided to capture the moment.
Then he noticed the paparazzi in front of him…

“you’re taking my photo???”
He continued with his pudding, then his happy face changed to sad face…

“you know mom, i miss baby caite“
me: why? (wondering why he suddenly thought of baby caite.)

“it was fun when she was here… i remember the good times we had”
Baby Caite is little boy’s cousin who visited us in Finland last summer all the way from Prague. You can read more of Caite’s antics here then you will know why little boy missed her.
By the way, these photos were taken last Sep 12… so baby Caite will know the day when Kuya (big brother) R-jed missed her while eating his pudding.
Do you sometimes miss someone when you eat?

hmmm… i don’t remember missing someone while having a yummy snack. usually the focus would be on the food. hehehe… maybe r-jed thought of caite while he was having his pudding coz he knows caite would love to have a bite of the pudding too!
i think it reminded him of those happy times when he was feeding his baby cousin aka pacbaby!

When I did camp counseling, it was often at meal time (mostly lunch and supper) when the kids got homesick thinking about their families back home.
