It is hubby’s birthday this week. So he decided to celebrate it yesterday coz it’s a weekend. But first we went to Yyteri, which is about 18 kms from Pori, one of the largest and popular beaches in Southern Finland. We can’t take a dip yet coz it’s still cold outdoors but the trip was enough to break the kids’ boredom at home. I’ll be posting more about this beach trip in Cookie travels.

After our short outing to Yyteri, the whole family went to Golden Rax PizzaBuffet for hubby’s birthday treat. It was past lunch so buffet was a good idea. I tasted almost every pizza flavor in the buffet table and ate :-) slices of pizza. Just imagine the pizza monster enjoying every piece of it. They also have this pizza with marshmallows on top. Maybe the latest addition to their pizza flavor coz last time we ate here this flavor was not yet available. R-jed tried this and he said it was yummy. I had a bit of salad, onion rings, chicken wings, lasagna, soft drinks, and ice cream. For the kids, with hotdog and meat balls, their food choice was broadened. There’s soup also and more on the buffet table but I concentrated on pizza. I then ended my sumptuous lunch with a cup of hot cappuccino. That’s what you call a heavy pizza buffet treat.
